If your xbox has the red ring of death… three or 2 red lights (otherwise known as RROD) or ANY other fault such as… over heating consoles, 3 red lights, freezing, E74 error, graphic glitches, 2 red lights and lots more.

If you are outside your 12 month guarantee period… you will have to pay a minimum of $140 (approximatley half the cost of a new xbox).

If you are within the 12 month guarantee period… you will get your xbox repaired free… but you will have to wait AT LEAST 3 or 4 weeks to get your xbox back.

If you are outside the US you are looking at the same MINIMUM cost of $140 and in all probability a longer wait with no xbox.

The above are the REALITIES of your situation. Believe me… I have been where you are now… and read everything on the subject.

Firstly I am a father to 3 boys… and I must admit I’m addicted to the xbox too.

So when it suddenly breaks down… you want it fixed fast… and there is no better motivation than 3 very unhappy kids who are determined to make your life a misery until its fixed!

Firslty I called the official microsoft xbox repair center….
